Many of you have been asking how and where I get my inspiration from for writing. For some reason, it is actually getting easier writing articles. I was testing ground to see what I could actually write about.
So my friend approached me and asked me if I could help her write a few articles here and there. Little did I know that I would be enjoying it so much that I would want to produce stuff every single day.
Basically, my inspiration is drawn from things I have seen, episodes that I have witnessed, experiences that I have been through (most of the “drama” I write about is from experience of course), friends of friends of friends experiences’ too.
All that time in school couldn’t have gone to waste. I had to use the English I acquired to get a breath of fresh air – writing.
It has grown to become a part of me, that I feel empty without it. It has become my newfound love.
When you experience, feel, see something, it is worth writing about. Well, not to everyone. For me, it makes me leap with joy, makes me feel connected to the world, makes me feel appreciated, wanted.
Whenever a story pops into mind, I can’t seem to put my fingers down, because I have to document it. I actually grew up with a diary and every aspect of life was recorded whatever I disliked, hated or loved. This is now just new canvas, for people to see and explore and appreciate with me.
A few weeks back I experienced a writer’s bloc. Do you know what that is? When I asked a friend about it she dismissed it saying that that shouldn’t exist. You know why? Because everywhere we go we see, hear, feel… In other words experience. So there will always be something to talk about or write about. It is just like when you haven’t seen a friend or relative in a long time and there is a lot of catching up to do. Usually, there is a lot to say. Right? Same thing with writing.
I pray that this passion does not go away, that it will keep growing and more people will appreciate growing writers and existing ones.
