Flying has always been a preferred means of fast and convenient transport to cover long distances. During a flight however, we need comfort and good food so as to enjoy a maximum flight experience. The plane food generally, is hardly ever food worth looking for. This is because it has been pre-prepared and packed and in the process before it’s plated, the flavors are no longer authentic.
When I hear people talking about flying and the flights they have booked, the first airline that’s comes to mind is Kenya Airways. I can see the Kenyan flag proudly displayed on the wing of the plane. Who wouldn’t want to be associated with that?
When you think about Kenya Airways, first thing that comes to mind is “The Pride of Africa. Right? Kenya Airways had been around for 41 years and has been the national airline of kenya, catering to different clientele, across the African continent. Kenya Airways has come a long way and we as Kenyans are proud to be associated with it.
Yesterday Kenya Airways launched a new catering service, that was launched by Chef Kiran Jethwa, who is the owner of Seven Sea Food restaurant, and he hosted TV personality Jeff Koinange in tasting some dishes that he had made, that would cater for clients boarding on the first and business class flight.
The launch is part of enhancing customer experience and and service delivery across all touch points. It will aim to make it more relevant and true to the brand as well. This new catering service will be launched as from 1st August. The guests must enjoy a memorable experience. Right? Kenya Airways aims to please and ensure that the customer is satisfied and enjoys being hosted by them. I mean what’s more could the customer ask for?
In addition to the new catering service launch the staff have been trained by Chef Kiran himself to ensure service and quality are looked into. This means that the food presentation has been put into place and consideration and the customer will appreciate that it looks good.
Welcome drinks have also been introduced in business class and they have been inspired by a tantalizing combination of herbs, fruits and Kenya’s best export, which is tea. That sounds absolutely delicious and amazing too.
Since Kenya Airways has pride in championing itself as being customer centric, why not book your flight with them and experience this new customer service deliver as you enjoy your flight. I know one day I will get to board a Kenya Airways plane and I will definitely want to experience the same customer service with The Pride of Africa.
